About This Package

In Madinah you stay at Grand Zowar, a 3 star hotel that is popular with UK groups. In Makkah you stay at Al Massa Badar. Both hotels include breakfast. Six nights in each city means you can spread your visits to the mosque out and rest properly in between.

Christmas Day falls on a Friday this year, and you will be in Madinah, so you can pray Jumu'ah at Masjid an-Nabawi. You will also be in Makkah on New Year's Eve, which is a normal night in the Haram, and you fly home on Friday 1 January.

Day by Day: 20 December to 1 January 2027

Day 1, Sunday 20 December. Fly from the UK to Madinah. Our team meets you at the airport and takes you to Grand Zowar Hotel by private coach.
Day 2, Monday 21 December. Pray at Masjid an-Nabawi. Visit the Rawdah at the time booked on your Nusuk app.
Day 3, Tuesday 22 December. Guided ziyarah tour of Madinah by private coach, including Quba Mosque, Mount Uhud and the Qiblatain Mosque.
Day 4, Wednesday 23 December. Free day in Madinah for prayers and rest.
Day 5, Thursday 24 December. Free day in Madinah for prayers and rest.
Day 6, Friday 25 December. Free day in Madinah for prayers and rest. Jumu'ah prayer at Masjid an-Nabawi. This is Christmas Day in the UK, a normal day in Madinah.
Day 7, Saturday 26 December. Put on your Ihram in Madinah, then travel to Makkah by bullet train, about two and a half hours. Private coach to Al Massa Badar. Most people do their Umrah that evening or the next morning.
Day 8, Sunday 27 December. Do your Umrah if you have not already, then rest.
Day 9, Monday 28 December. Guided ziyarah tour of Makkah by private coach, including Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah and Jabal al-Nour.
Day 10, Tuesday 29 December. Free day. Many pilgrims go to Masjid Aisha at Tan'eem to enter Ihram for a second Umrah.
Day 11, Wednesday 30 December. Free day in Makkah for prayers in the Haram.
Day 12, Thursday 31 December. Free day in Makkah for prayers in the Haram. New Year's Eve in the UK. A normal night in the Haram.
Day 13, Friday 1 January. Private coach from your hotel to Jeddah airport and fly home to the UK. This is New Year's Day, so we leave the hotel a little earlier for the airport.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this package good for families with children?

Yes. Twelve nights gives children time to rest between visits to the mosque. The rooms are quad, so a family of four can share one room. Children and infants pay less, so tell us their ages when you ask for a price.

Can I add extra nights to this package?

Yes. If you want to stay until 3 or 4 January, we can add nights in Makkah. The extra cost depends on the hotel. Ask us for a price.

Do I need to book my Umrah permit before I leave the UK?

Yes. You need an Umrah permit on the Nusuk app before you can do Umrah at Masjid al-Haram. We help you set up the app and book the permit for your Makkah dates before you fly.
