When. Monday 8 February to Thursday 18 February 2027. The first ten days of fasting, with the February half term inside them.

Where. Swissôtel Al Maqam in Makkah for five nights. It is one of the Abraj Al Bait towers, so you leave the lobby and you are in the Haram courtyard within minutes. Pullman Zamzam in Madinah for five nights, facing Masjid an-Nabawi. Haram-view rooms exist in both hotels and go to whoever asks first.

What being this close changes. Fajr, Umrah and back to your room before sunrise. Iftar in the courtyard, Tarawih, then upstairs to sleep. In the first Ashra the streets are not yet full, so even that short walk is an easy one.

The price includes an indirect return flight from the UK, Umrah visa, Nusuk permits, breakfast, all transfers and a guided Ziyarat in both cities. Four to a room. Twin and triple rooms at a supplement.

Who this is for. Older pilgrims. Parents with small children who need to get back to the room fast. Anyone who wants to experience Ramadan in Makkah in comfort and has worked out that the first ten days are the best value time to do it.
