About This Package

Pullman ZamZam is the reason most people choose this package. It is in the Abraj Al Bait building, facing the Haram, so the mosque is only a few minutes' walk away. You can go back to your room between prayers, which is a big help for older pilgrims and families with small children.

You spend Christmas in Madinah and New Year's Eve in Makkah, and fly home on New Year's Day. This is a busy time in both cities, but staying so close to the Haram means you do not have to worry about the crowds outside.

Day by Day: 22 December to 1 January 2027

Day 1, Tuesday 22 December. Fly from the UK to Madinah. Our team meets you at the airport and takes you to Al Ritz Al Madina by private coach.
Day 2, Wednesday 23 December. Pray at Masjid an-Nabawi. Visit the Rawdah at the time booked on your Nusuk app.
Day 3, Thursday 24 December. Guided ziyarah tour of Madinah by private coach, including Quba Mosque, Mount Uhud and the Qiblatain Mosque.
Day 4, Friday 25 December. Free day in Madinah for prayers and rest. Jumu'ah prayer at Masjid an-Nabawi. This is Christmas Day in the UK, a normal day in Madinah.
Day 5, Saturday 26 December. Free day in Madinah for prayers and rest.
Day 6, Sunday 27 December. Put on your Ihram in Madinah, then travel to Makkah by bullet train, about two and a half hours. Private coach to Pullman ZamZam Makkah. Most people do their Umrah that evening or the next morning.
Day 7, Monday 28 December. Do your Umrah if you have not already, then rest.
Day 8, Tuesday 29 December. Guided ziyarah tour of Makkah by private coach, including Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah and Jabal al-Nour.
Day 9, Wednesday 30 December. Free day. Many pilgrims go to Masjid Aisha at Tan'eem to enter Ihram for a second Umrah.
Day 10, Thursday 31 December. Free day in Makkah for prayers in the Haram. New Year's Eve in the UK. A normal night in the Haram.
Day 11, Friday 1 January. Private coach from your hotel to Jeddah airport and fly home to the UK. This is New Year's Day, so we leave the hotel a little earlier for the airport.

How close is Pullman ZamZam to the Haram?

Pullman ZamZam is in the Abraj Al Bait (Clock Tower) building, just across the courtyard from Masjid al-Haram. For most people it is only a few minutes' walk.

Can I get a Kaaba view room at Pullman ZamZam?

Some rooms at Pullman ZamZam have a view of the Haram. They cost more and sell out early, especially over New Year. Ask us when you book and we will check what is available.

Is flying home on New Year's Day a problem?

No. It is a normal flying day. Jeddah airport is busy, so we book your coach to leave the hotel a little earlier than usual.
