About This Package

This is the longest 4 star package we offer in December. Both hotels are comfortable 4 star hotels with breakfast included, and both are used to long-stay guests. A week in each city gives you time to visit all the ziyarah sites, do more than one Umrah, and rest.

Your stay covers Christmas, New Year and two Fridays, so you can pray Jumu'ah in both mosques. You come home on Sunday 3 January, so you have one day to recover before work and school start again.

Day by Day: 20 December to 3 January 2027

Day 1, Sunday 20 December. Fly from the UK to Madinah. Our team meets you at the airport and takes you to Al Ritz Al Madina by private coach.
Day 2, Monday 21 December. Pray at Masjid an-Nabawi. Visit the Rawdah at the time booked on your Nusuk app.
Day 3, Tuesday 22 December. Guided ziyarah tour of Madinah by private coach, including Quba Mosque, Mount Uhud and the Qiblatain Mosque.
Day 4, Wednesday 23 December. Free day in Madinah for prayers and rest.
Day 5, Thursday 24 December. Free day in Madinah for prayers and rest.
Day 6, Friday 25 December. Free day in Madinah for prayers and rest. Jumu'ah prayer at Masjid an-Nabawi. This is Christmas Day in the UK, a normal day in Madinah.
Day 7, Saturday 26 December. Free day in Madinah for prayers and rest.
Day 8, Sunday 27 December. Put on your Ihram in Madinah, then travel to Makkah by bullet train, about two and a half hours. Private coach to Al Ebaa Hotel Makkah. Most people do their Umrah that evening or the next morning.
Day 9, Monday 28 December. Do your Umrah if you have not already, then rest.
Day 10, Tuesday 29 December. Guided ziyarah tour of Makkah by private coach, including Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah and Jabal al-Nour.
Day 11, Wednesday 30 December. Free day. Many pilgrims go to Masjid Aisha at Tan'eem to enter Ihram for a second Umrah.
Day 12, Thursday 31 December. Free day in Makkah for prayers in the Haram. New Year's Eve in the UK. A normal night in the Haram.
Day 13, Friday 1 January. Free day in Makkah for prayers in the Haram. Jumu'ah prayer at Masjid al-Haram.
Day 14, Saturday 2 January. Free day in Makkah for prayers in the Haram.
Day 15, Sunday 3 January. Private coach from your hotel to Jeddah airport and fly home to the UK.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change how many nights I spend in Makkah and Madinah?

Yes. The package has 7 nights in each city, but we can change this, for example to 9 nights in Makkah and 5 in Madinah. The price may change a little, depending on the hotels.

Is there a laundry service at the hotels?

Yes. Both hotels offer laundry, and there are cheap laundries near both mosques. For a two-week trip, most people pack for a week and wash clothes once.

Is 14 nights too long for a first Umrah?

Not at all. Many first-time pilgrims find a longer stay easier, because there is no rush. You can take a day to rest after the flight, do your Umrah when you feel ready, and learn your way around at your own speed.
